Partnership

As a leading innovator in nonwovens, we are keen to foster dynamic relationships with similar organisations - for the benefit of our sector, our customers and our business. Examples for our current partnerships are outlined below.

Academic partners

Fiberweb is actively seeking collaborations with academic organisations around the world. One example is the current project with Cambridge University in Great Britain. Working together with Cambridge University’s experts in the fields of fluid dynamics, physics and engineering, Fiberweb is studying “in sito” the lay-down process of spunmelt technology to predict the influence of various process and equipment parameters on the uniformity of the resulting nonwoven webs. When completed, this project will allow Fiberweb to supply nonwoven webs with improved uniformity and mechanical properties to our customers. This improved web uniformity will enable Fiberweb to further reduce basis weights and deliver more cost efficient products to our customer. The project illustrates Fiberweb’s commitment to applying predictive tools (“modelling”) vs. the traditional “trial and error” approach to increase the speed of our development efforts.

Moreover, we continuously offer to students graduating in related fields the opportunity to carry out the experimental part of their diploma (or other) thesis at Fiberweb. Please get in contact with us, if you are interested in this opportunity.

Trade association partners

Fiberweb belongs to several key industry organisations. We participate in numerous industry committees to support activities such as test method development, ISO,healthcare, filtration and government relations.

We are always seeking opportunities to expand our partnerships with key players, both within and outside the nonwoven industry, to strengthen our innovation capabilities and increase market knowledge and penetration to the benefit of the partners involved.

If you are interested in forming a partnership with Fiberweb, we'd be delighted to discuss it further. Please contact us.
